One-of-a-kind hand woven, hand knit textiles, clothing and accessories.

I weave instinctively, following no set patterns, rules or expectations. This freedom in weaving reveals beauty in the unexpected and dismisses mistrust in one’s ability. I create clothing in a similar way, allowing the handwoven fabric to make known its final shape.

As a child weaves, taking time to pat the fluffy bits, play with hanging threads, and enjoy cloth from beneath the loom, we should remind ourselves to see life and art through their eyes. Taking chances, changing directions, and delighting in the outcome.

I am dedicated to the Saori style of weaving, an art and philosophy developed by Misao Jo, Japan 1960’s.  Saori weaving gives everyone permission to be artists, embraces the natural beauty of unintended mistakes, and provides an artistic and practical path for meditation, therapy, identify and community building.
