International Knit in Public Day is celebrated on the second Saturday in June each year. Founded in 2005 by Danielle Landes, it has become the world’s largest knitting event, created to highlight knitting as a joyful, creative activity for all ages. It’s a day that brings knitters together in public spaces, helping share the craft and celebrate the sense of community it creates.
We’re excited to host a Knit-In at Three Sheep on Saturday, June 13th in honor of this global celebration! Bring your needles and yarn, or stop in and find a new favorite to cast on while you’re here.
As always, it will be a fun, relaxed day spent with fellow fiber-loving friends—just knit, knit, knit and enjoy the company.
