"My name is Lauren, but I go by the pronunciation La-REN. My parents fell in love with Ralph Lauren's perfume, Lauren, almost thirty years ago. So, when it came time to have me, picking my name was a no brainer. Unfortunately, fashion design was not handed down with the name. But instead the gift to write was "sewn" into my genes. 
I'm a blessed, third generation author; daughter to a horror and thrill novelist/ playwright, and biological granddaughter to a poet. Although my destiny was practically written in stone, it did not come easy.
It has taken years to develop my skill, my talent, and my passion for writing, but with each passing day it's something I fall more and more in love with."
