Don’t miss out on the chance to support small business in the upcoming holiday season. Small Business Saturday will be held on November 25th
Each year Small Business Saturday is held on the Saturday right after Thanksgiving and between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. During the holiday season when retail sales surge, small businesses are often overshadowed by online deals and large retailers offering enticing discounts. But many small businesses support their local communities year-round, so they need to benefit from seasonal holiday sales.
Join us for a relaxing day after Thanksgiving. Bring your needles and we’ll supply the yarn, patterns, cookies and tea and knit with us adorable, knitted miniatures. The patterns are written for knitting in the round using double pointed needles. Each one knits up quite quickly and are the perfect size for your tree and are a fun addition to your wrapped gifts.
It’s time to begin your holiday gift weaving. It’s never been easier to amaze your friends and family with beautiful handmade gifts that you are proud to give and they are delighted to receive.

They're on a smaller side, so you'll get them finished in time for the giving. We’ll be exploring a new to me weaving technique (Krokbragd) on the Kromski Rigid Heddle Loom. Working with multiple colors and heddles, beautiful design will emerge reminiscent of Fair Isle knitting patterns. Why Fair Isle this week you ask? It’s Shetland Wool Week, a yearly event celebrating the sheep, the wool, the designers and knitting from the Shetland archipelago.
Help us help others as we prepare for the 29th Annual Pink Ribbon Tea, sponsored by the Junior League of the Mahoning Valley. For the past few years Three Sheep with the help of many knitters, crocheters, stitchers and stuffers have provided Knitted Knockers and Comfort Pillows for this event.
We’ll be packaging Knockers and hand-stitching the closure on the Comfort Pillows. If you’re handy with a needle and thread and want to support a cause that touches so many, we welcome you to join us from 10-3 and of course, tea and cookies will be served.
